Deathroe, do you still have my looper purse? I don't have your info anymore but would love to get some of those bugs back and whatever else was in there. Please shoot me another e-mail @ matt9er02zulu@hotmail.com. I'll pick it up whenever and anywhere that works for you.

I should've expected nothing less from you Steve. I kinda left the door open on that one I guess. I haven't "b-dazzled" it or anthing with rhinestones or glitter but amongst those I fish the shore with our tackle totes are commonly referred to as 'man bags' or 'purses'. Keep em coming!

Call it what ya want man if it helps ya deal with the fact your carrying a "Purse" or even a "Mans Purse". Whats a mans purse? Is there such thing as a ladies wallet?

No matter Matt just slingin some shiznit you know that. I dont care what you carry your fishing gear in. Now if there isnt fishing gear in there then I retract my statement. ;\)

Wouldnt guys on the shore shnit themselves if you walked up and opened you "Mans Purse" and broke out your compact and cherry red lipstick and put it on? I would pay money to have a video of that. grin.gif

Funny part is if you started catching fish every guy on shore would have cherry red lipstick on.

Don't worry, i used all the makeup on a nice chromer this fall. blush.gif It's the sexiest steelhead i've ever seen and i wouldn't be surprised if she's already been spawned several times.

In all seriousness, all contents are still intact. There will be email contact to arrange the drop point.

Did you finish 7th grade grammar? I'm trying to understand your question...can't!

There are two main spawning spots on Vermilion that I know of. I'm near the one on the west end of Vermilion. The walleye haven't been as good on this end yet they don't pull any fish out from here. They've been pulling walleye out of the east end spawning spot in Pike Bay, and for some reason walleye have been doing better over there.   I have no doubt that there are many variables that go into the equation, but you can't ignore that the end they put the 10% back into has been doing better than the one where they leave it alone.

Are there any updates for the area?  It sounds like crappie fishing is good in the shallows on Fishtrap.  I heard Sham is fighting high waters with no end in sight....

Trolloni - Do you write it that way to actually troll us?  Creel/lake surveys show Vermilion is very healthy and the DNR continues to use new technology.  It's only going to get better.  If we listened to old, arm-chair QB's, fishing would be as shi#TY as the West side.

At least10% of all eggs hatched at the Pike River Hatchery are returned to Vermilion waters every year. According to DNR statistics that percentage is usually a much higher survival rate then if they had let the walleyes spawn naturally! I consider that a good trade off! Cliff
