Rice Lake in Rice county

4 posts in this topic

Wondering if there is any action out on Rice Lake in Rice county or if anyone has even been out there. I heard there might be some northern biting in through the ice there. Thanks

It's a very shallow lake that froze out. There are a few nice fish in it but don't go expecting numbers and access is very difficult, maybe not even possible unless you have permission from one of the private property landowners.

I do have a pike show from one of the northerns that just kept coming back for more in the video sharing forum.

Also, did the lake freeze out this year or in years past? Thanks

I had a battery op Repala a few years ago and sold it to someone else at our campground. Didn't like the way they just zipped through without following the fillets and lost a lot of meat. Really suk's on a partly frozen fish!   Mine came with a case.
