Be thankful for any info you get. The only real way to see whats going on is go out and do it yourself.

Exactly, be thankful the info that your lucky to get posted on here for FREE! If Round doesn't work for your buddy, I heard from the fishing associate at Cabela's in Rogers he told me that there is a hot walleye bite on Minnetonka, and that I should get out there and get to know the lake......so your buddy could try Tonka, 15-20 feet, Park Bay, Glow Red buckshot Northland rattle spoon, tipped with shiner tail, and plain jig tipped with emerald shiners for dead stick.

Has anyone heard any reports out of Dunbar/Dixon lakes? I wanted to check out these lakes last time i was up that way but spent too much time on Red and LOTW to make the trip.

Hopefully be able to make another stop in Feb.

It is recommended that you start in April

The forum has do much more than fishing reports, hot bites, etc.  There's been more general and specific fishing  techniques, information and connecting with each other that has happened  here.     I can get hot bite information in a lot of places.  In fact many hot bites never do up on these forums.  Sounds like you've got a lot of information in a lot of places.   That's great!  Many of us have done the same thing.     Many of us have got together on the ice, in the woods or on the water because of.this forum.  That's what I've always enjoyed the most.     Hope to be able to keep doing that for a long time.

Correct.  You can throw him a buck or two to keep the road graded and all is good.  At least that's my understanding.
