They're still in there, just not as many. The hot, dry summer killed some of them off, but you can still catch a few out on the flats.

try fishing no man's land in between 3 mile and the mud flats out from Hunter's Point. Last year I decided to try there just for the heck of it and got into the tulibees. They are pretty fun to catch.

      I just finished two more of these 10 rod racks ... one is spoken for but the other is available. If you were thinking of getting one, now would be a great time. I could stain it to your spec and put the final poly finish on it and ship it to you in a couple days. Let me know if you are interested.

      Just went and checked out the lake, it is a slushy mess but I can get anywhere out there on the south west side, and all I have is front wheel drive minivan lol So I'm going to do a little recon on a lake map and pick my spot for the evening bite. Any suggestions on depth for walleyes?

      Nice article. Perhaps the lake trout season should close in February right along with walleyes and pike?

      Yeah, saw that too. Rumor has it he was heading towards the river access from Horseshoe. Not smart.
