3 posts in this topic

I am heading up on the 31st and wondering what the word is on Long Point/Rocky. Any certain depth?

The last time i was out was before Christmas so my report is only as good as that. We fished the mud in front of Arnesen's and got slow action and ended with 8 walleyes for 4 of us. Fished 12 mile the next day and had 14 walleyes, plus 4 slot fish in 24-25 feet of water. Any deeper than that it was slow. Also fished several spots around Cookers for about an hour graphing 0 fish. pink buckshots was best bait on 12 Mile and gold Angel Eyes was best on the mud.

We were there last Friday, so nothing fresh, we have been up to Long Point 3 times on the ice this year, the walleye & sauger have been a little slow, but we have been limiting out or near limits on walleye each time with a few sauger mixed in, very nice sized fish, some over the slot had to be returned also. We have been in 24-25 fow, but I think its time to try 27-28. Good luck.

Very weird. Those little worms in the garden do catch more than little 2-4 sunfish.

Strange indeed... Try looking for much more slack water compared to the beech you were yesterday and today. The West side of the dam was on fire this afternoon; a friend and I were in the double digits within an hour.

I just signed the petition "Robbinsdale Armstrong High School Athletic Director: Allow Trap/Skeet Participants to Earn a Chenille Letter." and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name.

Our goal is to reach 500 signatures and we need more support. You can read more and sign the petition here:
