Lake By lilly dale landing

I fished a lake across from the lillydale landing on pool 2 this morning, I have never fished the lake and dont know what is in it, but was hoping to catch northern on the tip-ups or walleye jigging. All we cought were very small sunnies. Has anyone else fished this lake?

Northern, crappies and sunnies have been known to be in this lake. Alot depends on the spring time flooding on what gets trapped in their and what makes it out. I used to walk the tracks back and tip up. Never got any big northerns, but did get some good sized crappies in the late 1990's.

It changes every year on that lake. Also the ice is always thin in spots. Be careful.
