I haven't heard anything. It looked dead when I drove by this morning and this afternoon. usually there's a least a few houses out there....

Looks like even a few of the guys who were spearing out there have moved off: Just down to 3 spear houses out there. I hit it once early on and didn't have any luck, but have been watching it and it hasn't seen much action. Too many other good lakes in the area.

Supposed to be a decent panfish bite with some walters mixed in but I haven't heard much on it. I was thinking of giving it a try one time this year.

I crossed over to the dark side of smallies about 15 years ago. Mostly chase pannies in winter but used to chase eyes a few times on the hard water each season.   I could post a ton of pics if you need more proof.

Sorry to make you hold up a bottom feeder, but we needed to see it!

I was up over the weekend and my shoreline was getting pretty sketchy.  Had a pocket of open water down the shore about a 100 yards. Where I could see the bottom in two to three feet of water.  Walked out about a hundred yards and popped four holes Saturday afternoon. There was 17- 18.5"s of ice in those four holes. Looking at the forecast I can't see the ice sticking around too much longer.  The holes I popped had 5-6" of pretty mushy cloudy stuff on top and about 12"s of pretty solid stuff underneath it.
