how do you get to the birches landing from grand rapids?

North on 46 to the Goshdam place then left for about 4-6 miles and there is a green sign on the right for Highbanks resort take a right and its about 2 1/2 miles down.

be careful if your going into the birches with a trailer now. it hadn't been plowed and was getting a little tough to get around. now I'd say we have gotten maybe 4-6 more inches of snow frown.gif

unless someone blazes through with a plow, it's gonna be tough to get in even with 4x4's.

just a heads up.

        So, this Deer runs through the forest all winter without breaking it's neck on anything. Then breaks it's neck by your deck that just happens to have a bird feeder and lots of really big rocks by it? Did the Warden buy it?   Oh yeah nice fish haul.

      Information I have indicates the operator stopped his machine on the marked trail, in a section marked 'Thin Ice'. That is when the machine went through.
