Question I came up with last night??

3 posts in this topic

I know the new cleaning and eating regs of walleye on Red Lake. But if taking the carcass's of say 2 guys limits to shore, would 2 guys have to drive them to shore? I would think they would because if only 1 drove them to shore and got stopped he could get ticketed right?

Just wondering so if we do clean and eat fish if we will be able to stay fishing or have to go to shore and dump them with someone.

"in-possession" Is the key to that. If you are "in-possession" of two limits of fish while you are all by your lonesome on Upper Red Lake you have been found in-possesion of two limits of fish on Upper Red Lake . Now if two limits of fish are in possesion of two anglers you should be ok.

Only thing I can add is was told the same thing (ACL) on my British lab.  She was hobbling about and surgery was the only option and would be 2-4 thousand.  I live in Grand Forks so the price is pretty standard.  I spoke to a friend who had a springer and was told the same and he rested her for a month.  We opted not to pursue surgery and kept her from running and jumping off the dock for a month and now you wouldn't know anything was wrong.  Had spoken to a few friends who have done the same and the dogs are all none the worse for the wear.  Just an option and I would have paid if it was life or death because I do like my dog
