I will be goiong up toward Dam on Thursday 12/27/07. I won't be fishing it. But will be on Clear Lake, just south of there. I have a friend on Dam and will stop by for lunch and find out what is shaking on Dam and get back to you this weekend. Tight Lines!

I drove up to Clear Lake at Glen last Friday. Fished for a ffew hours then went over to Dam to see a friend and had lunch. He says there is about 8 inches on the lake but there is also a lot of slush and some water on top of the ice. They have been picking up a few alleyes and some perch off the point near the resort on the South side. As I was fishing p[anfish on Clear Lake I never did get over to Dam. Hope this helps.

Blue Ribbon in Oakdale. Kathy's Bait off Rice and Maryland. If you go up north and drive through the cities, Vados off Central and highway 10 is the best.

I usually go up north, or stop by my Holiday to grab waxies or some small crappie minnows. But where in the metro can a guy get some small/medium suckers or shiners? I am closer to the south metro and work in Woodbury. I don't think Cabelas or Gander carry them anymore.

I would also suggest small sucker, I also had good luck with just a crappie minnow on the hook. Depends on the lake really.

White jig heads with a white tube, if that's not working use a buzz bomb with a sucker head or tail on the treble
