Nah, havent fished there yet... Soon though, I PROBABLY will, we will see... Fished there a few times last year though.... Caught a pike here and there every long once in a while, but the panfish action was consistent though... Size was hard to come by though.

I have fished this lake all year and it has produced large pike, decent walleyes, crappies, perch, bass. I have fished it this year 4 times and it has been horrible, you can see fish down there but they just don't want to bite. I'll give you a tip with this lake, use pink (I'm serious) jigs. I ran out of jigs one day and my wife had bought some pink jigs, as soon as i put one on I couldn't keep the fish off my line. It must have somthing to do with water clarity or somthin. Good luck with Karl's but I'm going out to prior this weekend as that is where the bite is.

I crossed over to the dark side of smallies about 15 years ago. Mostly chase pannies in winter but used to chase eyes a few times on the hard water each season.   I could post a ton of pics if you need more proof.

Sorry to make you hold up a bottom feeder, but we needed to see it!

I was up over the weekend and my shoreline was getting pretty sketchy.  Had a pocket of open water down the shore about a 100 yards. Where I could see the bottom in two to three feet of water.  Walked out about a hundred yards and popped four holes Saturday afternoon. There was 17- 18.5"s of ice in those four holes. Looking at the forecast I can't see the ice sticking around too much longer.  The holes I popped had 5-6" of pretty mushy cloudy stuff on top and about 12"s of pretty solid stuff underneath it.
