Cedar- Walleyes bite has been pretty decent this year. but the last 2 times out was really slow.

Prior - Best lake i have fished this season, lots of pan fish and also a few walleyes.

Fish- Havent't fished it.

karls - Did great all year but as soon as ice hit the bite stopped. There is fish there but they just don't want to bite.

Hope this helps.

I fish both Carls and Fish lake. There are pannies in there - they are small.

Prior lake has been good for me this year.. Have not tried ice fishing on it yet though.. Maybe tommorrow or something...

Prior, hands down, is one of the best lakes to fish at in MN.

I have caught them on Vermilion when the mayflies are hatching in the evening by using a fly rod with small poppers or may fly type dry flies. Just cast to the surfacing fish. A spinning rod with an Adjusta Float with poppers or flies may work even better. Cliff

I have also wondered why there are no Sauger in Vermilion. I have never caught one there or heard of one being caught by anyone else. Cliff

Thanks for the report MNfan.  Too bad fishing wasn't better for you. Good weather at least. Nice to get out this time of year.
