Where do most people fish Northens on Mill Lacs? I am thinking both jigging and tip ups. Thanks for any comments or tips.

Weedy bays on the Westside are the best for me. Start off in shallow weed pockets or transition areas. Also try a line in deep water 18-30ft and fish it anywhere from 2-20ft off the bottom, this takes care of the crusing fish. Suckers and shinners on quickstrike rigs...look out for muskies:)

Took my daughter fishing today. Not unusual. She's 18 and has fished with dad since she was a baby. What was unusual was her boyfriend came with us. She grew up fast. Glad it's still cool to hang with her dad. Brought home a pile of crappies to boot. All had fun.

I change mine every year. Probably could get by longer then that, but I like to do it every year.
