First let me say wow.... i guess everyone is hoping for the same success out there as last year....people all over the place.....

spent pretty much the whole weekend out there, mananged only 6-7 9" eyes......and half does keeper perch....not what i was hoping for....

What kind of Ice did you have, and did you go off the south or main acess.

was out there on saturday and measured 14 inches of ice. drove my crew cab truck out from south access. didn't do very well fishing wise, a few small walleyes.

left from the south full size ext cab.... couple of major slush spots towards the end on sunday... we measured 15 or so where we were..... and as i mentioned earlier....only perch.

I was also out on long this weekend. Had 15 in on spot the next under 6' snow was only 11'. But people were driving everywhere with out doing much ckecking.yep the the perch were bitting but had to sort, small eyes,lots of people!

latest report....long was fished too hard last year....not going to produce....HURRY everyone lets go to RINGO....come on....follow me....

      3" on west hunter in Zimmerman 15yds from shore.  Lakes talking a lot today. Keep in mind the lake is only 8' deep   A dozen trucks/cars at Baxter last evening when I drove by

      Thanks guys.  So just to recap so far, Nils and KDrill require adapters, which add $30 or so, but you can use them w/out the drill plate if you want to.  How about Strikemasters do they need an adapter?     Also, just wondering if there is any legit reason to pay $100 more for the K Drill over the Nils?  Seems to me they are about the same weight (ballpark) and both cut pretty fast.     Thanks again for the info fellas!!
