Plans for Rice Lake (Paynesville)

A small group of us plan to head to Rice to check out Waldo. Any ice reports would be appreciated. We haven't been out yet....ice looks a bit suspect even in some of the Sartell ponds!

I went out on the bay last weekend and there was about 8 inches of good ice across the bay. There were also fourwheelers driving around on the ice. I did not see anybody on the main lake though out past the points. I also checked the ice on the access near the south side of the lake by the river and it was ony about 3 inches. No houses were out on that side either.
