So how's the big lakes water lookin this year? Hopefully not like chocolate milk again. confused.gif

Was up yesterday across pine and the water seemed to be quite a bit better than the last 2-3 years.

Oh good. I remember either last year or the year before you couldn't even see your jig at the bottom of the hole.

Had 3 guys out yesterday that drilled 30' apart. 2 were catching many eyes but 1 wasn't & said his hole was murky so moved between the other 2 and started catching fish.

Has to be something in the ice to be so different so close together so don't be afraid to move.

      I'll stand behind Steve's ice rods!   I was able to get a nice collection of them last week.  Some panfish rods that I hope to work out tomorrow, and some walleye/laker types that I used today.  Great feel, light, and well built.       I connected with a couple mid-20 inch lakers today and couldn't have enjoyed the fight any better on another rod.  Very happy!   Thanks Steve!
