Navionics users....question for you

3 posts in this topic

The nav chips break down MN in 4 seperate regions. N& NWMN. SE& SWMN. Is there anywhere you can find a map overlay of where the seperation lines are? or where you could find a list of what lakes are in each region on the 07 version? I have the general idea just wondered if anything like this is out there on the web.

JJR,

I have never come across a map like that, but would admit they would be handy. I know one of the Navionics guys pops in here from time to time. Maybe he could give us a lead on something?

No breakdown that I've ever seen on the web or in the printed lists in the Navionics book... just lakes listed alphabetically by state. But if you chose a region on your gps and zoom way out until you see the whole midwestern US, you can get a pretty good idea of what areas are included by looking at the outlines drawn on the map.

Last year I went to the show to buy and thought Reed's would be the best and they came through again. I bought a Helix 10 from them and I got a free mapping chip. Below the price everyone else had at the show or outside the show. Also got a cheaper price on a new MinnKota that integrates with the Helix 10. When all the smoke cleared, I had everything in about 10 days.

Is the access on 22 still open at least?  I was hoping to get the boat out and chase a few cats Sunday, maybe it won't be an option?

I've been scouting public land like crazy to find some spots for upcoming archery and the spring turkey season and haven't found a shed yet. I even ventured into a sure bedding area hoping I'd see one in there and no dice.    It shouldn't be too much longer.

No one else getting concerned with the Wild's lack of intensity??? darn good when they want to be and awful mediocre when not buzzing....... Been a long time since I watched them play 3 full periods of real hockey.....
