I drove by this morning and it looked like the main lake and bigger bays were trying to lock up.

Did you happen to drive by Wayzata Bay? I'm itching to get out to a few spots along the shoreline break.

All of Tonka is locked up as of yesterday. Could be walkable by this weekend for those shoreline breaks.

      Great stuff guys

The lakes took a beating and I was not out on Sunday to see the damage. Saturday I saw the first 4 to 5 inches turn soft. Be careful and check the ice conditions

Sometimes you need em that size.      You guys did push me over the edge so I had to go out Sunday afternoon.  Thanks for that.

I was going to try to go tomorrow (walking out in metro) despite the rain which appears to be light and I have a portable. Are you concerned about the ice conditions deteriorating throughout the day?  Or just for the rest of the week?
