Well, it sure could be Cheffrey, but last time I saw Northlander it looked like his belly was moving in the direction of mine. grin.gifgrin.gifgrin.gif

Well I don't think it's Northlander because there's not a Yammie on that ice flow. grin.gifgrin.gif

But it kinda does look like the St. Louis River.

I think thats the Rainy River and I believe the pic was taken in 03 or 04. That spring there were people pulling their boats up on ice chunks and getting out and jigging off the sides of the ice. Nice slow drift. grin.gif

Fishing was awesome that year too.

Ya 2 tip ups but no ice auger. Im sure this was a joke is all. Saw a few guys have a buddy drop them off on sheets and then have pics taken.

I think if they were really fishing the guy with the flag up would get out of his chair.

      make / manufacturer: Eskimo
model name / number: Mako Upgraded to an electric auger and selling my old one. Runs great and has been well taken care of. Starts on 2-3 pulls every time. I have the extension for it as well as a new set of blades that I bought but haven't needed to change yet. I also have a cabelas auger bag that it fits in.

I scored a set of Striker Hardwaters for 25% off   bibs+coat. I fish early ice alone, decided to pull the trigger on a warm suit that can float if I end up breaking thru.  That crowd was insane. Happy to see the big turnout. All of the TV dudes were roaming around too, talking with ppl and taking pics. Had a great time and I'm happy to see how big the ice fishing community is getting. Just stay away from my holes!!!     jk. Looks like we could be gaining up to an inch of ice/day in metro lakes if this forecast holds.
