I been thinking about that.. have the hammers report in to one station and then who ever gives the whole report .. wouldn't that be fun?

I got my Tech lic.. but i did years ago before they changed it , i did my 20 words per min, i love code and i can sit and send and read all day long..

I like to get info of people i talk to from QRZ site.. i see i need to renew mine soon and for the new address here as well.

We should get together and chat

Tami

Does the Ely area have access to an Echo Link node ? That would be the only way I could contact anyone in the north woods with my 50 watt radio.

I crossed over to the dark side of smallies about 15 years ago. Mostly chase pannies in winter but used to chase eyes a few times on the hard water each season.   I could post a ton of pics if you need more proof.

Sorry to make you hold up a bottom feeder, but we needed to see it!

I was up over the weekend and my shoreline was getting pretty sketchy.  Had a pocket of open water down the shore about a 100 yards. Where I could see the bottom in two to three feet of water.  Walked out about a hundred yards and popped four holes Saturday afternoon. There was 17- 18.5"s of ice in those four holes. Looking at the forecast I can't see the ice sticking around too much longer.  The holes I popped had 5-6" of pretty mushy cloudy stuff on top and about 12"s of pretty solid stuff underneath it.
