Likewise to all of you FMers, hope you have a great turkey day!! My job brought me out west at the end of the summer, Spokane, WA, so this is my families first Thanksgiving away from MN/family.. Peaceful, I kind of like it!! smile.gif Kidding.

Fall fishing can be excellent but the weather can be iffy. Fortune bay casino has a nice marina. It has a bait shop, fillet house, freezer for you to keep your fish, beer, and gas. The rooms are nice and a decent price. Plus if you sign up for their card and gamble a little they will sent you coupons which commonly include a couple of free week night room rentals. It's not like the cabin feel on the lake but they have a nice pool, hot tub, sauna, and exercise room. They have a little arcade for the kids too. You can get food 24/7 and the bar is always open and has the sports games on. I know it's not for everyone but we have 2 little ones so the pool and arcade are great when they lose their patience with the boat.

Okay, just started makeing a new 10-rod version ... only $65 plus shipping. Or pick up in Grand Rapids. I have a run coming up this week so let me know if you are intersted!

Was out yesterday 9am till 2pm. Fished by dam, airplane, pontoon, dock. Fish were terribly negative. Three guys, three gills, one rock bass and dink perch. We were able to drive our pickup truck every where.
