water access laws???

2 posts in this topic

Hi this question is for anyone that knows anything aboat tresspass laws. I have a freind that gave me permission to duck hunt in his woods it adjoins a very large slough on one side which is owned by someone else, the water is flooded into my freinds woods from this big slough. is it legal for me to paddle a boat from my freinds property into this slough, I would not be stepping on any ones property other than my freinds land. confused.gif

The way I have had it explained to me by a CO you would be legal in doing that. The easier/more thoughtful way though would be to just call and ask that land owner if you could hunt that slough. Maybe also tell them you have access thru your friends land so you would not be driving a truck/trailer or doing any damage to his land.

In the summer and fall the night bite is excellent on Cass for eyes.  I'm not much help come winter time though.  With the clearer water due to zebra mussels, I would bet the night bite would be good.

When I discover it I will let you know. I have not figured it out yet.

Depends on your layout. If the walls can be easily removed inside that is usually the better option. If too much stuff is in the way...then yep...do as Cliff suggests.

Is there a special dance or ritual I can do in an attempt at pleasing said fish gods? Cuz my moves and dance skills just are not up to par this year! Lol.

I will have to look at google earth and see if i can find a street name that'll lead me to an access up there
