Missing gun...

4 posts in this topic

A friend was coming back from North Dakota deer hunting on Monday and somehow a black hard case containing a Ruger full stocked rifle in .250 Savage disappeared from his truck.

This rifle is intended as a gift to someone for the holidays and he would sure like it back.

He thinks it happened around Wilton MN, but we are not 100% sure.

He is offering a reward if found, no questions asked.

If you have any information please PM me or email at jwnoraas@paulbunyan.net

Thanks,

Sorry to hear about that... It's always disappointing to hear things like this.

I'll try to spread the message up that way the best I can. Who knows, it might wind up at a pawn shop.

I appreciate it guys, it is an odd caliber that unless ya reload is no good to ya, and the style it is in is not common around here. With all the registration requirements now it will come back to us jus thopefully sooner then later.

As I said there is a reward for it's return better to have cash in hand and no questions asked then to be sitting talking to the law.

Strange indeed... Try looking for much more slack water compared to the beech you were yesterday and today. The West side of the dam was on fire this afternoon; a friend and I were in the double digits within an hour.

I just signed the petition "Robbinsdale Armstrong High School Athletic Director: Allow Trap/Skeet Participants to Earn a Chenille Letter." and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name.

Our goal is to reach 500 signatures and we need more support. You can read more and sign the petition here:

fished a different spot today and it was strange, I was using crawlers and a lot of eyes bit and only 1 sucker.  guy next to me was using earthworms and he caught a lot of suckers and 1 eye.  twilight zone ! !  LOL  I just use a slpit shot most of the time.

All we ever use is a few bigger spilt shots and float/bobber with crawlers.
