Not looking good confused.gif

Weren't running as of three days ago, water still a bit too warm.

But the water is way too high, may be a tough year for ciscoes if it doesn't drop a foot by the time they're running.

Hard to trap of seine when you're in chest high water.

We'll know by this time next week if it's going to happpen. crazy.gif

Saw on the caller ID you tried to call today.

I was out running errands, just missed you.

Got another bunch tonight, not as much as last night, but not bad.

Should be filled up in another night or two.

Call again tomorrow, going to be there about 8:30, then running more errands.

Keep trying, I'm in and out of the shop.

3-4 Weeks?????

No way dude. There will be fishable ice before the end of the month. I can almost guarantee it. My prediction will be 3" of ice on Shagawa on November 26th.

Well, if I see the PT out front tomorrow, I will stop by! I am about to go stir crazy! I need to talk about fishing at the very least!!!!!!! smile.gif

JG

Stop in about 2 in the afternoon, I'm heading for Grand Marais tomorrow morning.

Should be back by then.

If you are interested in making a few bucks, let me know.

I may need some help from 7-9 tomorrow evening at the shop, as most of my Cisco crew vanishes on Friday nights! grin.gif

Another week has come and gone up here at the Angle. The weather sure changed for us up here. The week started with below zero temps and we ended the week in the 30's with some rain mixed in. It still didn't affect the fishing, as houses produced their limits of fish once again including a 31", 11 pound walleye! On the Minnesota side, we still have our houses scattered all around in 22-28 feet of water. Gold, pink and green were the best, tipped with a minnow or minnow head. We have had perch and saugers mixed in with all the walleyes, too! On the Canadian side, the crappie and walleye bite has been very good! Crappies have been in 28-33 feet of water. Only fish to your limit and then switch to another species’ for the rest of the day. Walleyes have been great in 22-29 feet, using the same colors as the Minnesota side, tipped with a minnow or minnow head. This is Forrest Huset with another fishing report. We hope to see you all at Sunset Lodge this winter!

Gophers are turning the program the right direction... getting Coffey to come really opened eyes of local kids to consider the U... Hope they keep it up. Great game with WI... lost in OT but really well played game by both sides.
