just thought some of you might be interested in the fact that a lot of small sheltered water is frezzing over. I've even seen water up to 200 acres frozen over.

I usually deer hunt the second weekend every year, and will this year too. There have been several years where we watched the ice form on Christina - - just watched it glaze over right in front of our eyes. Pretty cool. With the temp warming up, I am doubting we will see it this year, but you never know.

Many years my bro and I drove up to hunt Pelican or area lakes, and friday night it was open, only to see it shut good and closed up by Saturday morning at shooting time. Oh well. Now I ice fish too, but hate to see the duckin' stop for another year.

Can't wait to try for some deer this weekend though smile.gif
