Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

Beantown in 6. I'm going to bed. Now I feel bad for Cleveland, 8th inning (still going at the time of this post) has been brutal.

It's hard to go against a team that has won 20 out of 21. This layoff I think will hurt them. I love the Rockies, they have no big name players. Rockies in 4. Yep, Rockies in 4, they are to hot right now, everything is going there way.

I am going with Rockies in 5 games. People give Boston too much credit.

Boston had 17 hits at Fenway, I can just imagine how many they will get when they play in Colorado. Boston's line-up from top to bottom is pretty strong and I noticed they are very patiant hitter's at the plate and that made a big difference last night.

My boy Pedoria, home run last night on his way to the MVP but Beckett was sharpe also.

Too bad weather was so yucky for the game.

MNWild,

Homer to leadoff is nice, but too many more 1 for 5's and your Pedroia will never make MVP.

Ely,

still think Boston gets too much credit?

1 game after having just swept the last 3 w/ the Tribe though, right?

I just think I'm giving them credit where credit is due.

The BoSox aren't exactly last year's StL Cards (sorry CNYTim) while the Rox had to have an exceptional/outstanding record to just make it in.

Don't get me wrong, they are both good teams for sure.

Here's hoping it can go the full 7.

We have 2 good teams facing off. However, Bostons line up is just too good for Co's pitching, epecially when playing in Denver!!!!

From the mid point of the regular season this was the Bo-Sox's series to lose. I say they win it in 5.

Geno - Yeah but I think playoff veteran's play into that and we had a lot of post season experience with the guys on the team even when we didn't make it to the show we were always in the playoffs. They rallied around Edmonds "Game Ball" theme and cowboyed up wink.gif We had to do something being swept by the sox in 04 left a very bad taste in every veteran's mouth. I think it comes down to want in the end, how bad do you want it, the talent is there. Although I think Manny is shtty outfielder the guy is a monster at the plate. This series is over! Congratulations Red Sox and congratulations to the ROX for there first ever pennant, watch this team next year they will stay together and maybe just maybe it will happen... I have been missing baseball a bit boys enjoying some fabulous walleye fishing on Oneida Lake, these cool nights have me also thinking about the 07 NAIFC. It will be first ever trip to Minnesota (15-16 Dec.) and the Alexandria area, can't wait...

2-0 series lead for Boston. Shill pitched 5.1, 1 run. Pretty solid.

I don't think Colorado can win a game in Fenway, even if they won 3 games in Colorado (unlikely). This series might be over in a hurry.

I think your right. Rockies might get a game or two in Colorado, but i have a feeling if it comes back to Boston, redsox will take it to the house.

There just to good right now.

Wowzers. Lookin like a sweep right now...2 world series sweeps in 4 years. Impressive.

Sucks to live in Boston right now....

Boston College undefeated in CFB

Celtics expected to go to NBA Finals

Patriots undefeated

Boston Bruins on pace for NHL playoffs

Red Sox about to win 2nd world championship in 4 years.

I found exactly the same thing today. It was a steady 5" walking to the fishing spot. 3" of ice on the spot, if that. Cracks everywhere. Water pushing out of holes I had drilled. Not good.

Is the Frabill a thermal flip over? It sounds like a steal to me. I would go for it if you’re looking for a house that has more room. I have a Frabill 2 man thermal flip over and I really like it.

Steve, Thanks for helping me get a deal on my Otter. I was able to pick it up at Marine General on Monday. Can't believe all of the ice stakes that came with it. Bought one of the Eskimo drill adapters to install them.

Any new updates on the ice thickness.  Looking to get out on walk-able ice this weekend.  Seems like the darn winds blows 45 mph every day lately.

Thanks for the reply, I'll check them out.

I went out on Horseshoe on Sunday and where the ice remained from the first freeze it is a solid 6 in.  Where it recently froze over last week its was 3 inches at best.  Now that we have snow cover it will be hard to find that line.  I was out with the wheeler on sunday but stayed on the "old" ice that I knew was "safe".  I wouldn't use a wheeler from the access or go exploring quite yet.  Plan on heading back out Thursday and will try and give an update

went out last night. 2.5-3" of solid clear ice. Single digits last night and still pretty cold today...wouldn't be surprised to find another inch when i head out this evening.  Forecast temps have been lowered a few degrees so we shouldnt be losing any ice through the week/weekend. Hopefully making a bit more each night. Breaking out the popup this weekend!

So there's a guy that wants to trade his Frabill 3 man side door entry flip over ice house for my one man clam Legend thermal Ice House. Thinking I might go for it but was wondering if I should stay away from Frabill for any reason? Wondering if I could get any input and if this is a good deal or not. Thanks in advance.
