duel in dallas

11 posts in this topic

am i the only guy in the country that is not ga ga over the cowboys? i think the pats will go crazy this weekend.

i realize the boys are 5-0, but they haven't looked nearly as good as the 5-0 patriots. if you need a last second feild goal to beat the bills, i'm not impressed.

the NFC seems to have a bunch of middle tier teams and a few bottom level teams. nobody really stands out to me

I agree, although I don't know if that will be the score. I was thinking more like 24 - 3 if Romo plays the same way he did against the Bills. Heck, he made even Rex Grossman look good.

It's going to be a close game I think Dallas has better chance to blow out New England actually....

23-20 Cowboys!

Lets not forget this is the NFL.

This is Dallas' superbowl, the Pats are more likely getting geared up for their shootout with the Colts in a few weeks. The Cowboys could sneak up on them...but I would be surprised.

I think Dallas is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy overated. I'm expecting New Enland to go in there and beat them by 3 touchdowns and then the Vikes will do the same thing next week. I don'like either team, i just think NE is way better.

well, i did not think dallas would score that many points, but i figured they had no shot at stopping NE

then I will need to buy the bigger dewalt batteries. they look spendy.  I have 7 ryobi batteries now. 2 are the 4 amp.    600 pounds should be plenty  from what all are saying. I can take the 2 , 4 amps back and grab the dewalt. hmmmmmm, decisions desicions. lol

Why don't you take the free Dewalt I offered you....no more worries about not enough power...lol :-)

Making sure all equipment is in working order is one thing I always try to take care of before taking my first trip of the season. Nothing is quite as frustrating as a flasher with a dead battery or an auger that wont start.  I have always been a big believer having the proper equipment with to stay safe come first ice.... These items include a spud bar to check ice thickness, a section of rope,  a life jacket and a set of ice picks. Having a second person with is also a smart move when the ice is thin. Talking to those "in the know" about local bodies of water and current ice conditions is also a good thing to do.  Remember, first ice is usally not a consistant thickness, so use caution...and trust your gut...if something feels not right, it usally isn't. Good luck and stay safe, my friends :-)
