Good Time to Fish

4 posts in this topic

Hello,

I am coming up tomorrow (Sunday) to drop off some clothes and furniture for the needy as part of my sons Eagle Scout work. Since I'm in the area I am also bringing my boat along to try and catch a fish or two on Lake Bemidji. Can anyone tell me what time of day would best serve us? Not being familiar with the lake I'm not sure where to launch my boat. I'd like to donate my catch to some elderly folks that do not have the means to get themselves a tasty walleye or whatever. If anyone can provide some info (not your hot spots) I'd really appreciate it. Have a great day!

Stop in at Taber's bait, Ron will be able to point you in the right direction.

Made it out to North Center today by sunken island. Not very good, one perch. Marking them just not committing. Lots of water on ice, but ice is fine. 17 inches.    As far as north access, off Nelson road on east side there is an access. Put money in the box and don't be a Richard, I believe it is owned by a farmer and let's people use

Lake St Clair is a blast. If you hit vermilion at the right time it will be right up there with that. No reason you can't have a 100 fish day with a good chance at many big fish. Going by my phone pictures I had a great day on June 17 a few years back ha. Theres no shortage of rocky shorelines and docks. I'm a fan of tubes myself but I know guys love their senkos.    I'm sure you'll get some more specific responses. Wish I had more time to chase them myself
