The crappies are moving out to deeper water

1 post in this topic

Now's the time of year that that crappies are moving from the weed edges to the deeper water.

Depending on where you live they may still be hanging off of the weed edges in 8-10 FOW,but up here in northern Mn. where our waters are in the 50's(temp) they are moving out in the deeper area's and are suspended.

With a locator you should mark them suspended in 5-10 FOW out in the 30 foot holes or deeper waters.

Getting smaller with your baits will also help. What worked 1 month ago will not now, for us anyway so changing your pattern as they change will help you catch more fish.

Good luck fishing!

I had a battery op Repala a few years ago and sold it to someone else at our campground. Didn't like the way they just zipped through without following the fillets and lost a lot of meat. Really suk's on a partly frozen fish!   Mine came with a case.
