deer stand squaters

So I finish getting my tree stands up today, head out this evening and this is what I found....

never mind he was hunting with an over/under and definately out of season, He really didn't give me any choice except offer him a juice box and chex mix........

I think he's hunting squirels.he,he. Pretty cool. I just purchase that same stand from wally world. I like it so far but have not got any seat time in it yet. In about a week I'll know for sure if it's a keeper.

You should turn that picture in to the DNR and see if they've had any other reports of him hunting out of season in other's stands. It would sure send a powerful message to those thinking about squatting in your stands ever again! grin.gif

and also set-up some trailcams to see when he's coming and leaving. Maybe get a baitpile of gummie bears and tootsie rolls going? grin.gif

      I'm wondering the same thing!  Low temps have been dropping below freezing and in shallow water that temp has to drop multiple degrees in a night.  I'm wondering if they went back to the breaks and are waiting again?
