Mississippi River Wadeability

2 posts in this topic

Is it possible to hunt waterfowl on the Mississippi in this area without a boat? I was looking at it and thought that it must be worth a shot, but without a boat, is it worth my time?

SJU.... BE careful where you go. There is no hunting allowed in city limits... obviously.. But there is also a game refuge area until downstream of St. Cloud Country Club... Be sure where you go. There is a DNR island that you could hunt but wading to it will be a heck of a long wade unless you know some land owners in the area....

Good luck if you go...

I bet that cedar lake was borderline to drive on before the warm up in the first place.
