Ok, Who has the best selection of the biggest, baddest red tail chubs in the Bemidji Area?

Thanks for the help with area food selection!

Last couple of Falls I have gone to shop for redtails at Blue water. They did have nice r-tails, but soon ran out of the bigger girls. I like'em big baby!lol

I'll try both places this year!

Thanks folks!

Well ummmm, Hmmmm. Went to both aforementioned. I'd have to say take your time checking both places out. All I can say that won't get this post deleted is, one of the two counted out a dozen the other gave a hefty scoops worth.

Why such disparity these days? Plus one was almost $4.00 more???

One of the two lost out on future business.

Fishing was good especially during the crappier days last week!

Thanks for the help.

Can not say for sure, but there is parking outside of the park next to the boat ramp and also a turn a round road.

Is Stoney point access open to the public or just for camper access?

I purchased this exact boat last year just for Trout.  16ft Alumacraft, 25hp Yamaha, Helix 5 humminbird. This year I purchased a 50# thrust Minn Kota for the bow, I just haven't installed it yet.  Looking forward to it!

Cutbait is all I use for cats on the red. Cut goldeye, sucker and frogs are my go to baits. Typically a 4-6 oz no roll sinker with a foot leader or shorter. Cast it down current and wait. Caught a lot of cats that way. We actually caught eyes doing that too but not many. Haven't tried bait paste or anything like that but would imagine it would work
