tug of war games for a bird dog?

3 posts in this topic

Is it ok for a pup to play tug of war, and let him go nuts on a stuff toy once he gets it? Does this hurt him in anyway for releasing a bird? Hes a puppy first, but i don't want to give him bad habits this early on, that i might be able to break later on.. When i say drop it, he does right away.. but i noticed he does bite into it kind of hard..

I'll stand behind Steve's ice rods!   I was able to get a nice collection of them last week.  Some panfish rods that I hope to work out tomorrow, and some walleye/laker types that I used today.  Great feel, light, and well built.       I connected with a couple mid-20 inch lakers today and couldn't have enjoyed the fight any better on another rod.  Very happy!   Thanks Steve!
