Where to find minnows

3 posts in this topic

I will be driving from Winger on Highway 59 to Fergus Falls on Monday, would like to know where I could pick up some red tails, or rainbows, or sucker minnows in that order. DL would work the best for me. Plan on fishing early Tues. morning so would like to have them ready to go. Thanks

John at Quality bait in Dl has creek chubs and rainbows, no redtails. the BP on 59 had some redtails but they were out last night and said they're trying to get more but looked grim. Johns Creek jubs worked well today!

Only fished for 2-3 hours tried all over the small lake we were on. Ooh well still nice to finnaly get out. Planning on taking the yak out on opener do a bass/pike/ walleye trip so exited for that. Any reports? I know there was a lot of people out there. The boomsite access was already 3/4 full when I drove by at 5 AM. I'm thinking about going out of blufflands park on Friday.
