Looking for a shotgun skeet / trap range

3 posts in this topic

Gents,

I have a cousin who makes independent films in the Duluth area. She is looking for a trap skeet range to do some filming in the area. Does any one have some info as where she could go?

Appreciate your responses in advance,

bd

Try the Proctor, Northern United Sportsman, or Hunter lake gun club.

You could also try Bert up at Old Vermillion Gun Club. League is over but he may still have the skeet and trap pits open.

I crossed over to the dark side of smallies about 15 years ago. Mostly chase pannies in winter but used to chase eyes a few times on the hard water each season.   I could post a ton of pics if you need more proof.

Sorry to make you hold up a bottom feeder, but we needed to see it!

I was up over the weekend and my shoreline was getting pretty sketchy.  Had a pocket of open water down the shore about a 100 yards. Where I could see the bottom in two to three feet of water.  Walked out about a hundred yards and popped four holes Saturday afternoon. There was 17- 18.5"s of ice in those four holes. Looking at the forecast I can't see the ice sticking around too much longer.  The holes I popped had 5-6" of pretty mushy cloudy stuff on top and about 12"s of pretty solid stuff underneath it.
