Portable fish house modification day this Saturday

3 posts in this topic

Have you heard about this? A FishingMinnesota event

at Thorne Brothers in Fridley. Some great ideas in

this free exchange of ideas and cool ways to make your

portable more user friendly, comfortable and safe.

Many organized free seminar type talks.

I am really leaning towards going to this deal.

Get all the details in the Sponsor forums near to top

of the main listing page.

I know its a lot of driving but I think it would be worth

it.

If all else you end up at Thorne Bros and one can always find trouble there. I would go myself but I have prior plans already. Maybe next year.

Hi Jason,

It's getting even worse now. Its Thursday and I still

haven't got my plans done. Family Reunion in the Princeton

area and the Fishhouse Seminar in one swoop or a couple

days of jiggin Walleyes.

I guess I dont know how this will end up but it all looks

good to me.

Found a half dozen good size crappies on Clear Lake in Waseca Sunday.  Just off the bottom in 8 feet of water, minnows under bobbers.  Water temp was 58 on the east side of the lake, which was a full degree above the rest of the lake.

yepper, almost 30 between the 2 of us in the slack water next to fast water. kinda hard to fish in that fast water when it's moving so fast...

We were using both, but the number of fish caught was definitely based on..... location, location, location - slack water during high flows is where it's at buddy.

I remember when I first moved to MN I went down to the dam with a buncha angleworms. Coudnt keep the smallies off. LOL

Very weird. Those little worms in the garden do catch more than little 2-4 sunfish.
