I went out on the 9th around sundown. Got one 16 incher right away on a crank, and then zippo the next three hours. The cold front did not help. I was marking a lot of fish suspended in 20 feet of water off the really sharp breaks. None of them wanted to play ball, however.

Only fished for 2-3 hours tried all over the small lake we were on. Ooh well still nice to finnaly get out. Planning on taking the yak out on opener do a bass/pike/ walleye trip so exited for that. Any reports? I know there was a lot of people out there. The boomsite access was already 3/4 full when I drove by at 5 AM. I'm thinking about going out of blufflands park on Friday.
