I think thats what the new conoco in buffalo is called. Tereso. Does anyone know if they still have bait and if it's new owners or was conoco bought out.

They are still selling live bait, but I'm not sure if they were bought out. P.S. I was out on Pulaski on Tuesday night. Very poor. Fished till about 10 pm, I pike and one Large mouth...No eyes. We were just pulling cranks with lead core. I think we need the lake to turn over first... Dan

We will still be having bait. Nothing is changing except for the name. Conoco pulled out of MN on Aug 2 and all Conocos had to change to something else. There are still a few Conocos around, but they are just waiting for the signs to come down.

OKgolfer, Welcome to the FM site. I was also on Pulaski, lots of bait balls at all levels. I could not catch anything for them, maybe small shiners, need to wait a week or so for water to settle down.

Surface temp dropped 9 degrees in 5days!

Out of curiosity what do you all think this cost them?  Not including the truck damage.

i'm thinking of heading up and trying for some tulibees for the smoker- anyone been catching them?      how are the roads out to the flats?  i was thinking of coming on from the east side of the lake- maybe Hunters.

Decided to try trout fishing through the ice for the first time and it was awesome. We were setup in 80ft of water and were catching them 20 ft down jigging a silver kastmaster spoon. It was pretty cool to see how the fish acted with the underwater camera. They were like sharks when they came in. We had probably 30 or more trout come in and check out the bait but only few takers.  Was a lot of fun. Definitly going to explore more trout lakes. Doesn't get much better then fishing on lakes with no houses on them!    Here is a video of the trip with underwater video of the strikes:  https://youtu.be/6JuJhq-50X4

There was 20 at the site.  I'm not worried about the main sheet of ice, just the access and near shore/shallow areas.   Plenty of ice everywhere else I drilled.

My kids went out Sat, Sun.  Went from Vermilion to Myrtle lake, said the trails were bumpy, but plenty of snow.  Lake has snow, but pretty slushy.
