Fish Lake trip

2 posts in this topic

Hello all, I am new here and wanted to get some advice.

We are planning a trip to Fish Lake and was wondering if I could get any tips or reports on the Walleye's. We are staying at the HiBanks Resort the weekend of Sept. 20-22.

Any reports or rigging tips would be appreciated.

Thanks

Corey

You could call Tim at Hi Banks as well and he has the latest reports. He and his buddies are always out fishin.

The lakes took a beating and I was not out on Sunday to see the damage. Saturday I saw the first 4 to 5 inches turn soft. Be careful and check the ice conditions

Sometimes you need em that size.      You guys did push me over the edge so I had to go out Sunday afternoon.  Thanks for that.

I was going to try to go tomorrow (walking out in metro) despite the rain which appears to be light and I have a portable. Are you concerned about the ice conditions deteriorating throughout the day?  Or just for the rest of the week?
