Anyone been seeing much for geese around? I know theres a bunch in Willmar but confused.gif what good does that do? I just havent seen as many geese around this year. Im going to go out tomorrow but im not expecting much. Hope theres a few guys out to keep them moving.... anyone on here have any words of encouragment! crazy.gif

the flight route has moved southwest of willmar. this has been occuring for about the last 6 years. start southwest of pennock and head towards raymond. check every small waterhole, whats left, and start counting. you will be very surprised. i'll be out there to help push them around.

My area has few in comparison to the last few years!I see a flock or two per week,one flock of 8-12 the other bout20-25 thats it.More ducks than last year tho,but that aint sayin much.No lisence for me this year!

the REAL sportsman wouly buy a license just to put more $$ into the habitat probram regardless if hes going to hunt em or not!! grin.gif

      I love these fish! The attitude is always fun and they taste great. The strip of y bones can be cut right out with a little effort.    I know where I'll be early in the morning May 13th with topwaters and swimbaits!

      Grubens did permits the 2016 season. Fortune bay stopped writing BWCA permits the end of the 2015 season. Sally retired and that ended the permits at the bay.  Some day we will be able to buy permits on line and print them.

      The video shown in the link posted above shows most of the fish they're handling going back because they're not ready or too green. The video was from 4/14 so I would bet they are done as that was 1 1/2 weeks ago. Cutfoot was done in less than a week. Cliff will be able to tell you for sure when then finished but I'd guess they were done by the end of last week.
