10 person cabin on Mille Lacs

5 posts in this topic

Does any resort on the west side of Mille Lacs have a 10 person cabin? (Or, does any Mille Lacs resort have a 10 person cabin?)

A friend of mine is taking his family up.

They have 10 people and want to be in the same cabin.

He already booked a launch with a resort on the west side but said he might change if he can find a cabin that sleeps 10.

Try Hunter's point. George has 10 person cabins and 2 launches.

Appeldoorn's has the "Tournament House on the SW corner of the lake. It has five bedrooms with 8 queen beds and 2 hideabeds. They also have a 6 bedroom cabin at the resort that can sleep up to 16.

We did the tournament house out of Appledorns about a month ago and it was perfect. I would definetly recommend it. Very private and lots of room!!!

Yeah next week looks good for getting out. Hopefully the snow totals stay on the low side but at least its gonna be the light powder variety.

Thanks guys.  So just to recap so far, Nils and KDrill require adapters, which add $30 or so, but you can use them w/out the drill plate if you want to.  How about Strikemasters do they need an adapter?     Also, just wondering if there is any legit reason to pay $100 more for the K Drill over the Nils?  Seems to me they are about the same weight (ballpark) and both cut pretty fast.     Thanks again for the info fellas!!
