September Fishing

6 posts in this topic

We are heading to Park Rapids late sept early oct we are looking for Pike and Bass action, we will mostly be fishing Long, but we want to try and find one other lake we can fish for the day looking for a big pike or northern. We were thinking of trying George or Mantrap both of these lake have produced us quality fish and on the trap you always have that chance at a nice Ski. What lake would you recommend for fishing in the fall George or Mantrap or does someone have a diff lake we should try out. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Muskybuggs is right. Last year in the Fall Slam fishing tourney, held on Sep 21, 2006, on Fish Hook Lake, 40+ lbs of fish won the tournament. Fish Hook

is a great fall lake. It is located just on the North edge of Park Rapids. Take Hwy 71 North and the access is on the right just as your leaving town. If you pass R&R Rental, you have gone too far.
