Pelican Lake Map

5 posts in this topic

I posted previously regarding musky....zero response. How about someone from the area at least allowing me to know where a guy can spend some money on a decent lake map.

Sorry I've only targeted muskies on the lake once. All i know from my friends is that its a good night trolling lake and since i dont troll much it just isn't my kind of lake. DL sports shop should have some kinda map or Wally World in DL shold also.

Lakeland General store at Dunn Villa has good maps. On Hwy 59 at east end of lake.

The store at the RV park by the southwest access has the same map as the others mentioned.

Jim you are still alive? Long time no see....   Truck went through on Buffalo last night I guess. Saw the pics on facebook looks like the dude drove right into open water good thing it was shallow. That fog was brutal that would be scary dropping in with that fog like that.

Went out with a friend today. Looked like it was the month of March with the temp and water on the ice, and they bit like it was March as well! Ended up with 30 sunfish (7 1/2 to 9 in) 6 crappies and 2 perch! Was a lot of fun best bite I've had yet this year! If your going out I would advice to wear cleats espically when that water on top of the ice freezes.

The DNR should post a sign telling those unfamiliar with the lake that driving out from the main public access is unsafe. I don't recall ever seeing anything like that over there.
