Can I Blame Saturday's Weather?

2 posts in this topic

I did poorly on Saturday fishing a lake which I fished twice last year with very good success in August. Did anyone else find tough fishing on Saturday?

Becomming bored, the four kids in the boat (ages 7-10) cut the time on the water very short. I was near Park Rapids, it was cold but not raining.

I never did find the fish location of the day. I'm sure they were biting somewhere.

I was out casting on a MPLS lake that I'm familiar with on saturday and had a tough time also. In my situation, I'm putting part of the blame on myself. There were a couple techniques I should've tried but ran out of time...I would have liked to stay longer, but my buddy wasn't having a good time. He was in a sweatshirt and full rain gear and said he was cold. mad.giftongue.gif
