Musky Fishing

3 posts in this topic

I have been waiting for Brian to post this info but he has been having camera issues so I guess I will for him.

I had a great week long vacation from 7/78/07-8/04/07 so kind of old news but yea. I caught three muskies and two of them while out with Brian.

On July 30 I went out with Brian for the evening had some hot action! Caught two muskies and missed two others. Also my brother caught a musky but it swam out of our net before we realized there is a hole big enough for a musky to swim out. The next day I caught my 3rd and last musky of the trip on the same great spot Brian showed us the previous night.

These are the fish I caught while with Brian

Great catch. We used Brian last year and he got me onto my first Musky. This year my wife caught her first while trolling.

Strange indeed... Try looking for much more slack water compared to the beech you were yesterday and today. The West side of the dam was on fire this afternoon; a friend and I were in the double digits within an hour.

Hey the kids need your help please!
They are the future and this sport gets them involved
In many other great outdoor activities.
      Time is running out!
You can Make a difference in a young persons life.

I just signed the petition "Robbinsdale Armstrong High School Athletic Director: Allow Trap/Skeet Participants to Earn a Chenille Letter." and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name.

Our goal is to reach 500 signatures and we need more support. You can read more and sign the petition here:

fished a different spot today and it was strange, I was using crawlers and a lot of eyes bit and only 1 sucker.  guy next to me was using earthworms and he caught a lot of suckers and 1 eye.  twilight zone ! !  LOL  I just use a slpit shot most of the time.

All we ever use is a few bigger spilt shots and float/bobber with crawlers.
