I may have something you would be interested in....he is a started male, very nice nose, great pointing instincts, but he will never be a field trial dog ( curled tail while on point). He is a very nice dog with great breeding and would make someone a very nice hunting companion if they could over look the curled tail. He is kennel trained and in wonderful shape. He has been on birds, around guns and kids and is great with both. Let me know if you are interested in meeting Hobey, he is located in Ramsey. If Hobey isn't what your looking for, I can put you in touch with someone who has what you want.....

Someone else you might want to talk to is Jack LeClair. He does an amazing job with English setters as far as breeding and starting Setters. He rarely has more than 20 dogs on site and all of them make great house pets as well as amazing hunting dogs. I've gotten 2 from him, and both have been exceptional dogs. If you talk to him, Let him know that Grant Pearson, Tim Pearson's son sent you. He'll know who you're talking about.

still love my setup for bluegills but not the best when I use a size 10 jig and fishin for crappies. I might grab the clam springs and rig a rod up with the wire thats a little stiffer and see how it works. this would just be for deep fish.

Out Sunday ... Looked like a City of Trucks and Castles ... Bite was slow but managed a few Crappies / sonnies on Plastics.   we lost a nice walleye near the hole on a moon jig and crappie minnow.   Might have to go Perching in the shallows on south side of MilLacs this weekend.  Hey Moose ... what ya using for Perch on Millacs shallows 12-18 FOW?

Was out after work for a couple hours yesterday and got two walleyes to bite. The Landing is getting flooded out. Was kinda hesitant on driving out after seeing all the trucks parking on Shore and taking the long walk out. With all the black ice out there it was a little spooky but after seeing 17" to 19"of good ice  was pretty comfortable with it

I will be interested to hear of your experience.  Please let us know.    I think the anecdotal evidence was that the service and quality was not up to the premium price, although that could be old news.     "fine dining" has been a tough sell on the lake.   Several places have tried and failed that I am aware of.

Only fishing for crappies. With a baby at home only get a few hours after work to fish.
