New British Girl

5 posts in this topic

Here is my new British/Scottish named Ayla that I got from Diamond J Brit Labs in Atwater. She is 9 weeks old.

She already has one heck of a nose on her and extremely calm to boot.

PB,

She's a cutie, have a nine month old female British, extremely calm until she hits the woods. I wish she was nine weeks again, that first year is a hoot watching thier personalities develope.

Thanks WD!

It is fun seeing their personality come through. She is funny and determined. It is great having my 2.5 year old to kind of mentor her. She has already learned the Sit command and has a grasp on the house training already.

Absolutely a beautiful gal. Your memories are just beginning - take plenty of pictures, they grow up fast.

I love these fish! The attitude is always fun and they taste great. The strip of y bones can be cut right out with a little effort.    I know where I'll be early in the morning May 13th with topwaters and swimbaits!

Grubens did permits the 2016 season. Fortune bay stopped writing BWCA permits the end of the 2015 season. Sally retired and that ended the permits at the bay.  Some day we will be able to buy permits on line and print them.

The video shown in the link posted above shows most of the fish they're handling going back because they're not ready or too green. The video was from 4/14 so I would bet they are done as that was 1 1/2 weeks ago. Cutfoot was done in less than a week. Cliff will be able to tell you for sure when then finished but I'd guess they were done by the end of last week.
