Water Spots

4 posts in this topic

Hi- In the course of sprinkling the grass the car got in the way-lot of water spots that baked on in the afternoon sun. Triedwindow cleaner and elbow grease for the windows, and hot soapy water for the car. Neither worked. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Try mixing up some white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. I use it on my boat and it takes care of the water spots quite nicely. Put about 1/4 cup of vinegar into a spray bottle (empty Windex bottle works great) and fill the rest of the way with water. Spray on and wipe off with a clean towel.

Exactly what Dan said. I do the same thing, a little white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Works great on the boat, motors, color screens, etc.
