Maintenance Products Question

Alan

Question

I am, as probably most of you are going to be doing some routine maintenance on my/your motor this fall for the winter storage. Fogging oil, oil, waterproof grease etc...

Should I be getting this stuff from the dealer? I know the dealerships are always more expensive. Or, is their a better place to get my lubes and oils? Online?? I have no clue and could use some help, I have never had to buy this stuff before.

Thanks..

You can purchase many of these product at your marine dealer, hardware store or places like Walmart. This year I have started using more Amsoil products which you can order right from them online. Thier website is at the top of this page and Don is very helpful in steering you in the right direction.

Being your first time doing your winter motor work, make sure you ask all the questions you have here or you can use the search feature for any archived subjects of interest. One does not want to miss anything and end up having a suprise next spring that could run into some serious dollars.
