Wigginton

I see he went to the Astros for very little. It's really too bad we couldn't have made a deal for him. He's not the sole answer but would be a good part of the puzzle for the future to have a decent bat to plug in for a 3rd basement and a much better option that what they currently have. It looks like we could have given up much less than a Garza or Slowey to get him.

I agree- plus WIG plays all the infield spots (3B,2B,SS and 1B). The Twins must think highly of Buscher becasue at 3B they are very weak.

There is a reason he went cheap. Wig is a great bat, I even have him on a fantasy team. But have you taken a serious look at his fielding %? It isn't pretty. Falls waaaay short of Twins standards. I think he has played so many positions because teams are desperate to find one he can play at MLB level.

I'll stand behind Steve's ice rods!   I was able to get a nice collection of them last week.  Some panfish rods that I hope to work out tomorrow, and some walleye/laker types that I used today.  Great feel, light, and well built.       I connected with a couple mid-20 inch lakers today and couldn't have enjoyed the fight any better on another rod.  Very happy!   Thanks Steve!
